The Bangor Branch of the University of Wales Alumni Association continues its 2016/17 lecture programme with two lectures arranged for this term.
10th February 2017
The first lecture will be delivered by the journalist Tweli Griffiths, who will discuss aspects of his book, Yn ei Chanol Hi, as well as the changing political climate.
3rd March 2017
The second lecture will be by Wil Aaron, the television director and producer, based on his book, Poeri i Lygad yr Eliffant, which discusses the adventures of Welsh Mormons in the Western United States of America.
Delivered through the medium of Welsh, the lectures will be held in the Sir Ifor Williams Lecture Theatre, Lecture Theatre 4, New Arts Building, Bangor University. Each lecture will begin at 5:30pm and a warm welcome is extended to all.
With two very interesting and informed lecturers speaking on subjects and countries which are constantly in the news at the moment, both events are sure to be fascinating and insightful evenings, and the Bangor Branch look forward to seeing you there.
