Spring Term Seminars at CAWCS

The Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies (CAWCS) research seminars are a well-established feature of the calendar for the Celtic Studies community in Aberystwyth. Speakers range from early-career scholars to eminent professors and come from institutions across the UK and beyond. Each speaker is invited to share their latest research on a wide variety of topics relating to the interests of the Centre’s staff.

The spring term series opens with a lecture on the 25th January and continues throughout February and March, alternating between Welsh and English-language seminars:

Each seminar is held in the Seminar Room of the centre at 5pm. Papers will last about 50 minutes, followed by the opportunity for questions from the audience. A warm welcome is extended to all.
